Ketamine-Assisted Therapy Panel

The Psychedelic Medicine MIG hosted an engaging panel discussion on the transformative potential of ketamine-assisted therapy. The panelists (Dr. Mark Cornfield, Susan McBride, Dr. Manuela Joannou, Dr. Sayali Tadwalker, and Dr. Ryan Patchett-Marble), alongside Dr. Monique Moller, engaged in a discussion on real-world applications of ketamine-assisted therapy and explored its use with diverse groups including individuals, couples, and first responders/veterans. A patient also shared his lived experience of ketamine-assisted therapy.

Panel on Health Canada's Special Access Program for Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy
This panel explored the latest developments, regulatory frameworks, and real-world applications of psychedelic therapies (MDMA and Psilocybin) in clinical settings (academic and community). Attendees gained valuable insights from experts in the field as they discussed how the Special Access Program has been enabling access to groundbreaking treatments for mental health conditions. The discussion was moderated by Dr. Monique Moller and featured panelists Dr. Emma Hapke, Dr. Sabrina Akhtar, Dr. Sean O'Sullivan and Nicholas Pope.
